    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 6-month-old boy was referred from the audiology department because of pronounced sensorineural hearing loss.
    • The boy had severe meningoencephalitis at the age of two months.
    • MDCT of the temporal bone was performed to evaluate the possibility of cochlear implantation.
