    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 23-year-old man suffered multiple leg fractures and leg ischemia following a car accident; he
      was initially treated with femoro-popliteal bypass and bone immobilization with external fixations.

    • Two weeks later, he was admitted for enlargement of the leg at the level of the calf.
    • Echocardiography depicted a small soft-tissue lesion of the left atrium.
    • Contrast-enhanced computed tomography was performed to look for a cause.
