    1. Patient presentation

    • A 59-year-old man with no significant medical/family history developed acute abdominal pain on
      a business trip to South America
    • Taken to ER, biochemical and radiological exams (X-ray and US) were negative
    • Discharged after 4 days
    • Flew home where CT was performed
