Risk stratification of stroke in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft using high pitch CT-angiography

A study published in Scientific Reports evaluated the role of high-pitch CT angiography (HP-CTA) performed before coronary artery bypass graft surgery in predicting the risk of perioperative stroke. The precise identification and characterization of plaques obtained using HP-CTA may allow a more accurate risk stratification of stroke in this clinical setting.
