Association between environmental tobacco smoke exposure and epicardial fat thickness as measured on CT angiography

    A research paper from Cardiovascular Toxicology estimated the correlation between epicardial fat thickness assessed on coronary computed tomography angiography and environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) exposure in hypertensive patients. In this cohort of patients, epicardial fat thickness was positively related to ETS exposure.
