Michel Eisenblätter

Immunotherapy has dramatically changed the oncology landscape, the approach to cancer, and the outcomes of oncologic patients. CT imaging has an essential role in selecting patients for the most appropriate therapy, assessing treatment response, and detecting immunotherapy-related complications. In this podcast, Prof. Eisenblätter describes in detail the use of CT for studying different patterns of response to immunotherapy and differentiating between pseudo-progression
and true progression based on iRECIST and irRECIST criteria. He also briefly mentions the contribution of CT in identifying the adverse effects of immunotherapy, a topic that will be extensively covered in an upcoming podcast.
