1. Patient Presentation
- A 52-year-old woman was admitted for transient right hemiplegia and aphasia.
- Doppler ultrasonography of the carotid arteries gave normal results.
- Echocardiography depicted a small soft-tissue lesion of the left atrium.
- Contrast-enhanced cardiac computed tomography was performed for further evaluation.
