    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 52-year-old woman was admitted for transient right hemiplegia and aphasia.
    • Doppler ultrasonography of the carotid arteries gave normal results.
    • Echocardiography depicted a small soft-tissue lesion of the left atrium.
    • Contrast-enhanced cardiac computed tomography was performed for further evaluation.
