    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 77-year-old woman presented to the Pulmonology Department with neck and facial edema, shortness of breath and fever.
    • The patient had a history of lung adenocarcinoma surgically treated with lower lobectomy and ilio-mediastinal lymphadenectomy. Following surgery, she received a course of pulmonary radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
    • An ultrasound examination of the cervical vascular branches raised suspicion of bilateral thrombosis in the subclavian and jugular veins.
    • Laboratory tests revealed elevated D-dimer levels, white blood cells, and C-reactive protein.
    • Given the patient’s symptoms and medical history, a contrast-enhanced CT scan was performed.
