    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 13-year-old boy presented to the emergency room after a fall from a scooter causing an ankle sprain.
    • Physical examination revealed pain and swelling of the left ankle.
    • No other lesions were identified on physical exploration.
    • An x-ray exam reported a left tibial fracture and therefore a left ankle CT was performed to further evaluate the bone.
