1. Patient presentation
- A 64-year-old man with long-standing liver cirrhosis presented with right flank pain and hematuria.
- Laboratory tests revealed elevated alpha-fetoprotein levels (6500 ng/ml; normal range 3-4 ng/ml).
- Ultrasonography showed multiple liver masses.
- Dual-energy CT of the liver was performed to rule out hepatocellular carcinoma.
