1. Patient presentation
- A 64-year-old man was brought to the emergency room with a reduced level of consciousness and a
left-sided hemiparesis. - Relatives reported that the onset of symptoms was insidious.
- The patient was cachectic and his medical history included laryngeal cancer.
- Non-enhanced and contrast-enhanced MDCT of the neurocranium was performed.
