    • A 71-year-old man experienced rectal bleeding 3 days after routine colonoscopy.
    • Medical history revealed resection of the sigmoid colon with termino-terminal anastomosis 1
      year earlier, for neoplasia.

    • Laboratory tests revealed a low hemoglobin level.
    • Abdominal radiography revealed air-fluid levels.
    • He was referred for abdominal CT.
