1. Patient Presentation
- A 71-year-old man experienced rectal bleeding 3 days after routine colonoscopy.
- Medical history revealed resection of the sigmoid colon with termino-terminal anastomosis 1
year earlier, for neoplasia. - Laboratory tests revealed a low hemoglobin level.
- Abdominal radiography revealed air-fluid levels.
- He was referred for abdominal CT.
