    1. Patient presentation

    • A 56-year-old woman presented with positive FOBT (Fecal Occult Blood Test).
    • She underwent optical colonoscopy interrupted at the descending colon for abdominal pain.
    • CT colonography was performed to explore the whole colon; the patient was informed that, in the case of positive findings, the examination would be continued with an intravenous injection of contrast medium.
