    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 70-year-old man presented to the urologist complaining of two episodes of painless hematuria over the course of one week.
    • Abdominal ultrasonography suggested a partly cystic nodule in the lower pole of the left kidney.
    • Contrast-enhanced MDCT of the kidneys was performed to better characterize the nodule.
