1. Patient presentation
- A 70-year-old man presented with lower right abdominal pain and alternating periods of
constipation and diarrhea. - Clinical and laboratory examinations revealed fever and mild leukocytosis.
- Ultrasonography and radiography of the abdomen showed slight distension of the small bowel and
a small calcification in the right lower quadrant.
- Multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen was performed.
