    1. Patient presentation

    • At laboratory testing, an 81-year-old woman was found to test positive for hepatitis C virus
      and to have elevated serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and
      alphafetoprotein.

    • No abnormalities were found with abdominal ultrasonography.
    • Multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT was performed.
