    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 66-year-old woman complained of intermittent abdominal discomfort.
    • Medical history included bilateral adnexectomy performed 5 years earlier.
    • Transabdominal ultrasonography did not reveal any pathology. Gastroscopy and colonoscopy
      also gave normal results.

    • Laboratory findings were normal and, in particular, levels of tumor biomarkers were not
      increased.

    • She was referred for abdominal CT with oral contrast medium.
