1. Patient Presentation
- A 66-year-old woman complained of intermittent abdominal discomfort.
- Medical history included bilateral adnexectomy performed 5 years earlier.
- Transabdominal ultrasonography did not reveal any pathology. Gastroscopy and colonoscopy
also gave normal results. - Laboratory findings were normal and, in particular, levels of tumor biomarkers were not
increased. - She was referred for abdominal CT with oral contrast medium.
