    1. Patient Presentation

    • An 85-year-old woman presented to the emergency room with a first generalized
      seizure. She was in a postictal state with drowsiness.
    • The seizure, witnessed by her grandson, had been tonic-clonic in nature.
    • Relatives denied any previous seizures.
    • Non-enhanced CT of the brain was performed.
