1. Patient Presentation
- 53-year-old man suffering from HBV-related chronic hepatitis with cirrhosis presented for periodic surveillance.
- No clinically significant solid parenchymal lesions had been identified at previous CT follow-up scans.
- Contrast-enhanced CT was performed as part of routine diagnostic assessment.
- The four images show the same axial slice in different conditions: non-enhanced phase, arterial phase (25 seconds after intra-venous injection of contrast agent), portal venous phase (70 seconds) and delayed phase (3 minutes), respectively.
