    1. Patient presentation

    • A 71-year-old woman reported low grade fever, left flank pain and hematuria.
    • No abnormalities were found with routine laboratory tests.
    • Ultrasonography of the left kidney revealed an apparent mass with abnormal echogenicity.
    • Multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT was performed.
