1. Patient Presentation
- A 45-year-old woman presented complaining of episodes of fever and cough with expectoration which were recurring over a period of 3-4 months.
- At examination, the patient indicated that she had neurofibromatosis type 2 but had not suffered respiratory problems in the past.
- Chest radiography did not reveal any parenchymal or pleural lesion.
- Contrast-enhanced CT of the chest was performed to investigate further.
