    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 16-year-old boy presented to the emergency room after a generalized seizure. The seizure,
      witnessed by his family, was tonic-clonic in nature.

    • The patient was post-ictal at the time of presentation.
    • The parents reported that their son had suffered from seizures since early childhood and was
      taking anti-epileptic medication. In addition, he had developmental delays throughout childhood.

    • Since imaging had never been done before, non-enhanced CT of the brain was performed.
