    Echogenic left posterobasal lung mass observed on fetal ultrasound and MRI: postnatal characterization with contrast-enhanced chest CT

    1. Patient Presentation

    • Fetal ultrasound detected an echogenic pulmonary mass in the left posterobasal region in a 3-month-old male, a finding subsequently confirmed on fetal MRI.
    • After birth, chest ultrasound again demonstrated a supradiaphragmatic posterobasal echogenic lung mass, supplied by a 2-mm systemic feeding vessel.
    • Follow-up was planned with Pediatric Surgery, and a thoracic-upper abdominal CT angiography was performed at 3 months of age for further evaluation and management decisions.
