1. Patient Presentation
- A 63-year-old male patient, a non-smoker with a history of mild hypercholesterinemia, was admitted to the Cardiology Outpatient Service due to newly developed fairly typical chest pain.
- On clinical examination he appeared in stable condition, and electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure were normal.
- An echocardiogram was also performed, showing normal left ventricular ejection fraction (59%) without any wall motion abnormality.
- In accordance with the recent guidelines, the patient was referred for cardiac CT and CT angiography.
