    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 72-year-old man presented with constipation and abdominal pain.
    • A clinical interview revealed a family history of colorectal cancer (CRC), in that his father and mother both died from the disease (lifetime CRC risk, 24%)
    • Double contrast enema examination showed an “apple core” lesion on the sigmoid colon.
    • The patient was referred for CT colonography.
