1. Patient presentation
- A 39-year-old man without cardiovascular risk factors presented with chest pain that
exacerbated at deep inspiration. - Electrocardiography showed a diffuse PQ depression in the anterior and lateral leads,
suggesting pericarditis. - Laboratory tests indicated a slight elevation of troponins.
- Coronary CT angiography indicated normal coronary arteries.
- A low kilovoltage, delayed-phase CT acquisition, 5 minutes after a first-pass examination, was
performed for further evaluation.
