1. Patient presentation

  • A 50-year-old woman experienced angina pectoris and dyspnea during exertion for 2 years.
    She recently experienced a syncopal episode.

  • Electrocardiography (ECG) revealed anterolateral and apical signs of left ventricle ischemia.
  • Myocardial scintigraphy revealed apical and anterior stress perfusion defects.
  • She was referred for ECG-gated 64-row cardiac CT.
