    1. Patient presentation

    • An 84-year-old woman was brought to the emergency room with right-sided hemiparesis.
    • The symptoms suggestive of a left hemispheric stroke had begun approximately 2 hours prior to
      admission.

    • Non-enhanced MDCT of the neurocranium was performed first, followed by CT angiography and
      CT perfusion.
