    1. Patient Presentation

    • A 53-year-old man presented to the emergency room with acute lower back pain and radiculopathy.
    • He had been suffering from recurring lower back pain for several months. However, this time the
      pain was more severe and radiated to the left leg.

    • The pain got worse when the patient coughed or sneezed.
    • Non-enhanced CT of the lumbar spine was done.
