1. Patient Presentation
- A 23-year-old woman presented with abdominal pain, fever and weight loss.
- Laboratory tests revealed hypertension and an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate of 60 mm/h.
- There was no evidence of bacterial, viral or fungal infection on blood and serum assays.
- After an initial ultrasonography examination without specific findings, contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen was performed.
