1. Patient Presentation
- A 65-year-old woman was hospitalized for abdominal pain.
- Her medical history included a diagnosis of uncomplicated diverticulitis 3 years ago.
- The patient received regular antibiotic therapy resulting in resolution of symptoms.
- Contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen was performed for suspected intestinal perforation.
