    • A 65-year-old woman was hospitalized for abdominal pain.
    • Her medical history included a diagnosis of uncomplicated diverticulitis 3 years ago.
    • The patient received regular antibiotic therapy resulting in resolution of symptoms.
    • Contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen was performed for suspected intestinal perforation.
