    • A 57-year-old woman was referred to our department after clinical consultation for lower abdominal pain over the previous month accompanied by weight loss and constipation.
    • She reported no family history of colorectal cancer but had a known history of diverticulosis.
    • In order to evaluate her diverticulosis and considering the low risk for CRC, CT colonography was performed which showed diffuse sigmoid thickening suspicious for segmental colitis associated with diverticulosis and an anal lesion.
    • Contextually, supine CT colonography with multiphase contrast injection was performed to characterize the lesion.
