Triglyceride glucose index as a predicting factor of coronary artery disease in asymptomatic patients evaluated by CT angiography

A study from a Korean group evaluated the association between the triglyceride glucose (TyG) index and the presence of subclinical coronary artery disease (CAD) assessed by CT angiography. The TyG index has been identified as an independent marker for predicting the risk of CAD in asymptomatic patients.
