The association of a deep learning image reconstruction algorithm and contrast-enhanced CT can increase diagnostic accuracy in oncologic imaging

    An Italian prospective randomized study carried out on oncologic patients demonstrated the superiority of a deep learning image reconstruction algorithm associated with contrast-enhanced abdominal CT compared to iterative reconstruction in improving image quality and diagnostic accuracy, for the detection of ≤ 0.5 cm hypovascular liver lesions.
