Predictive value of quantitative contrast-enhanced CT parameters for early complete response to TACE in patients with HCC

A recent study from an Italian group investigated the role of contrast-enhanced CT in predicting the early complete response (CR) to transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), using quantitative parameters. The quantitative assessment of HCC wash-out proved to be the best predictive parameter for early CR in these patients.
