High-resolution contrast-enhanced preoperative CT angiography accurately depicts retrograde ascending aortic intramural hematoma, allowing for safe and effective endovascular repair procedures

    A retrospective study from the Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery reported successful short-term results and  very good safety of endovascular repair procedures on 21 patients with retrograde ascending aortic intramural hematoma who were appropriately diagnosed and selected using contrast-enhanced preoperative CT angiography.
