A retrospective, single-center study included 112 patients scheduled for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). CT coronary angiography results, invasive angiography results, and the Agatston score were collected for all patients and were compared with on-site CT-FFR performed during the preprocedural planning to assess coronary artery disease (CAD) and predict significant events within a 24-month follow-up.
The results suggested that CT-FFR may be a more reliable predictor of major adverse cardiovascular events after TAVR compared with traditional markers of CAD.
