CT texture analysis of non-necrotic colorectal liver metastases for predicting response to chemotherapy

A recent study evaluated the role of CT texture analysis in non-necrotic colorectal liver metastases (CRLMs) in predicting response to standard first-line cytotoxic chemotherapy in 29 patients. Eight texture features were reported to be significantly correlated with the treatment response of non-necrotic CRLMs, and two of them were included in the final radiomics signature. These promising preliminary results need to be confirmed by further investigations.
