CT angiography versus conventional angiography for the postoperative evaluation of clipped cerebral aneurysm

A study from European Radiology compared multislice CT angiography and three-dimensional rotational angiography for the evaluation of patients with cerebral aneurysms treated with titanium clips. CT angiography represents an accurate imaging technique in these patients, with high sensitivity and specificity for detecting occlusions and residual/recurrent disease.
