Coronary artery calcium scoring should be done on all chest CT examinations, according to radiology societies

    Coronary artery calcium scoring can, and should, be done on all non-contrast, non-ECG-gated chest CT examinations, including low-dose lung cancer screening, in order to identify persons at risk of coronary artery disease, according to a report by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Society of Thoracic Radiology.
