A recent work from Emergency Radiology wanted to assess the benefit of multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT scans in patients who underwent high-energy blunt trauma; results indicate that the additional arterial phase facilitates the detection of vascular lesions, providing a reliable guidance for subsequent clinical management.
