mdct.net - Scanning technology resources for healthcare professionals. A practical approach

THIS MONTH’S HIGHLIGHT

RSNA 2020: The most exciting and latest advancements
in science and technology research.
From human mind, for human well-being

Dear mdct.net readers,

As each year, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)’s Annual Meeting is upcoming but, differently from the previous years, it will be an exclusively on-line event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s theme, “Human Insight/Visionary Medicine”, seems to encompass a promise for mankind that has the potential to counteract and defeat human diseases, including the scourge of COVID-19, thanks to the most brilliant and enterprising human minds at the service of science.

On the wave of the RSNA initiative known as “Cases of the day”, we present a collection of new and yet published clinical cases in different subspecialties with the aim of arousing your scientific interest and meeting your need for increasing expertise in the use of MDCT applied to clinical practice.

We also repropose an analysis from Dr. Anzidei on the advantages of Artificial Intelligence integrated into MDCT, as one the most striking examples of pioneering technological innovations developed by the human mind for the benefit of humanity.

As always, suggestion for new topics to be covered in future newsletters are appreciated: for this purpose, please contact us at editorial@mdct.net.

Have an unforgettable RSNA 2020!
