In the middle of the last June, the European scientific community involved in abdominal radiology convened in the exciting and delightful city of Valencia to attend one the most awaited events of the year, the annual meeting of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR), celebrating its 34th edition. The four intense days were marked by a packed schedule alternating scientific events with plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation.
In this Newsletter, Prof. Torregrosa, who warmly welcomed all the attendees as the 2023 ESGAR Meeting President, provides a comprehensive and enthusiastic depiction of the most meaningful and memorable scientific sessions, symposia, conferences, workshops and experts’ discussions and, at the same time, of the most amazing entertainment and fun events planned for the social program.
Inspired by the two scientific sessions of this ESGAR Meeting focusing on daily clinical practice and named “Tricky cases from my day job” and “Cases of the day”, described by Prof. Torregrosa in her podcast, we propose two clinical cases selected from MDCT.net’s archive and specifically addressing abdominal imaging.
