Dear readers,
The European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) has recently celebrated its 33rd Annual Meeting in Lisbon (Portugal) where, after two years, the attendees had the opportunity to meet in person again.
MDCT.net has the privilege of being scientifically supported by Prof. Andrea Laghi, who is one of the Scientific Committee’s Section Editors and, above all, the President of ESGAR. Through his voice, we will be carried into this renewed scientific experience: in a Podcast contribution, he will share with us his thoughts and feelings and describe the numerous events, scientific sessions, symposia, workshops and original initiatives that involved the attendees.
As reported in this talk by Prof. Laghi, the main topics discussed during this 2022 ESGAR Annual Meeting have been pancreatic and gastrointestinal tumors: inspired by these themes, we are reproposing here three clinical cases from the MDCT.net archive.
We hope you will enjoy this full-immersion tour of the multiple aspects of the 2022 ESGAR congress and, as usual, we remind you that for topics to be covered in future issues you can send your proposals to us at editorial@mdct.net.
From the MDCT.net team
