1. Patient Presentation
- A 67-year-old man with a history of alcohol abuse, cholecystectomy, and right hepatectomy (for
hepatocellular carcinoma) came for a follow-up examination.
- Laboratory testing indicated elevated values of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate
aminotransferase, alpha-fetoprotein and gamma-glutamyltransferase.
- Tests for hepatitis B and C viruses were negative.
- Contrast-enhanced abdominal CT was performed.
