The reliable role of contrast-enhanced CT for predicting risk stratification and possibly prognosis in patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors

    A recent study from European Radiology has demonstrated a strict relationship between contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) patterns and the risk stratifications or mutations in patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors. The study findings suggest a possible prognostic value of CECT in this kind of patients.
