Measurement of CT attenuation values for predicting tumor necrosis following lenvatinib treatment in patients with HCC

A recent study aimed to determine threshold CT attenuation values helpful for predicting tumor necrosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who obtained a complete response following lenvatinib treatment. An optimal cut-off attenuation value was identified that proved to be highly sensitive and moderately specific in differentiating between HCC necrosis and degeneration after treatment.
