    Based on 128-slice coronary computed tomography angiography and intravenous contrast agent, an Irish group evaluated the association between the epicardial and pericoronary adipose tissue and the coronary artery calcium score (CACS), a predicting factor of coronary artery disease (CAD).Epicardial adipose tissue thickness is positively associated with CACS and may predict the risk of CAD.
