Coronary CT angiography supported by remote image interpretation to rule out acute coronary syndrome in the emergency department

A single-center prospective cohort study from an Italian group assessed the feasibility of a coronary CT angiography (CCTA) service partially supported by teleradiology to assess acute chest pain in the emergency department (ED). The remote collaboration of a cardiac radiologist associated with teleradiology-supported CCTA in the ED is feasible and helps to rule out acute coronary syndrome in patients presenting with acute chest pain.
