Assessment of pulmonary embolism in association with COVID-19 by using contrast- enhanced CT angiography

    A study from Radiology evaluated the prevalence of pulmonary embolism (PE) in patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia by using contrast-enhanced pulmonary CT angiography. A high rate of PE was detected in these patients and no association was found between the extent of lung disease and the prevalence of PE.
